One of the most illustrious names in early music will visit Manresa to give a unique concert, with a commissioned production. It will take place in the basilica of La Seu (acoustically conditioned for the occasion) as part of the Manresa 2022 events commemorating the stay of Ignatius of Loyola in the city, 500 years ago.

Leading twenty musicians from the Royal Chapel of Catalonia and Hespérion XXI, Jordi Savall will offer us a musical journey through the life of Saint Ignatius: a life of transformation, marked by the profound experience he had in the Cardener.

The concert will end with the tasting of the festival's beer accompanied with El Dolç del Pelegrí - a biscuit made with nuts and aromatic herbs.
